GDI Scam - Global Domains International, Learn the truth about GDI

I've been marketing online since 1998 and have been a member of Global Domains International since 2005. I can honestly say that GDI is a real business, just as tangible as Walmart or any other real business out there and they will be around for as long as we have the internet because their product is a valuable one which is wanted, needed and used by hundreds of thousands of people around the world. At one time GDI was ranked #37 out of the top 500 fastest growing companies in the US.

A complete web hosting account with GDI is only $10 a month, and that includes a free domain name, website building program, professionally designed web templates, custom email addresses and more. The package is more than anyone might need to build a complete website for business or personal use or both. And the best part is they pay you for introducing it to other people. When you tell someone about GDI and they sign up for a web hosting account, you will earn a commission from their monthly payment for as long as they keep their account. Some people are literally earning 6 figures per month with this business.

Because of the very nice compensation plan with GDI, many people sign up solely for the purpose of making money. But knowing how to market it is where most people go wrong, and that is why some have called it a scam. They signed up with dollar signs in their eyes but didn't have a clue as to how to get people to sign up for an account under them and so their hopes of making a fortune didn't work out so they blamed it on GDI. That's like running out of gas on the way to Walmart and blaming them for not telling you how to fill your tank.

If you've ever tried to make money on the internet before, then you probably didn't do so well. As a matter of fact, I'd be willing to bet it was a complete waste of your time and money. I know, I've been there. And the reason many people don't do well is because they are misinformed as to how they should promote their business.

There are just too many websites out there that give a huge spiel of lies to get people like you and me to sign up for their opportunity with promises like, "Anyone can do it", or "It's fully automated", or "Financial freedom in 30 days working just a couple of hours per week", or "We will build your downline for you", "You'll get spill-over and spill-under", blah blah blah. Then as soon as you sign up, they get their commission and move on to the next prospect, leaving you in the dust to fend for yourself. And with GDI when you ask your upline for help they tell you, "Just show the movie, the system sells itself!" or "Buy leads, they will get you a ton of sign-ups!"

I have news for you. LEADS DON'T WORK! Not in GDI or any other online business. At least not the leads you buy, no matter where you get them or who you buy them from.

1. You enter your leads (names and email addresses) into the invite system and click "Send"

2. Your lead receives an email and if they click on the link in that email, it takes them to a page where they will see a ticket that they need to fill in to gain access to a movie. It asks for their name, email address and phone number.

3. They then click on the "Let Me In" button and it takes them to the 7 minute animated movie, which is pretty cool because the characters actually call you by name (or the name you enter into the ticket) and they explain how the system works and how you can make a fortune with little or no effort at all.

4. They would then get an email from an autoresponder asking how they liked the movie and then encourages them to sign up for a free trial account.

5. The sponsor who sent the invitation would then get an email from the system telling him/her that someone has watched the movie and to contact them immediately.

6. The lead would then continue to get emails from the system automatically (one a day for about a week) encouraging them to sign up.

All of the above happens automatically after you enter their name and email address into the invite system and signups would come flooding in IF ONLY the leads you bought really were people interested in your opportunity, but they aren't. As a matter of fact most of the leads you buy won't even open the email sent by GDI's invite system. And very few of those who do open the email get curious enough to watch the movie.

Fill in the blanks with your information and then hit the "Let Me In" button to go to the movie. If you want you can put in a fictitious email address, but if you want to see the auto responder emails then you will need to put in a real one. You can cancel at any time if you no longer want to receive them.

Everything the movie says about how much money you can make with GDI is true, but the part about buying their leads, business cards and flyers is NOT the best way to go.

GDI is not a Scam as a few uneducated people have claimed, but rather an awesome money making opportunity. But you can't simply rely on the "GDI System" to do all the work. Promoting just the system the way GDI suggests gives too many false hopes. When someone signs up believing all they have to do is buy leads and enter them into the system, their life with GDI is short lived because they expect way more than they'll ever get by doing that. And when they ask their upline for help they are told to "Show the Movie," but they aren't told HOW to find interested people to show it to. And that's the key to success with GDI or any other business. Knowing how and where to find interested people to show it to.

In my opinion GDI is one of the best online businesses opportunities out there, mostly because of the low cost of getting started (only $10 a month) and the true "Residual Income" that it creates. Once you have a few signups on your first level and teach them how to do the same thing by getting REAL interested visitors, then your downline will snowball and the checks will come in monthly for the rest of your life. "That's Residual Income!"

Believe it or not, getting targeted traffic (interested people) to visit your website, look at your opportunity or watch your movie is a lot simpler than you might think. But first, let me tell you what NOT to do. And this may shock you because you have probably already tried these methods and maybe you still using them because they are things that many people say you should do, but in reality they are total time and money wasters:

You double your income from the same downline. If your wife or husband is on level one, you will both get a check for everyone under him/her as wide as to infinity under every person down to level five. If that's confusing, look at the income calculator below. It shows what you can actually make down to level five buy signing up just one person (your wife or husband) on your first level, and then only ten on the second level. Saying that you can expect to make 6 figures in just a few short months would be far fetched. It would indeed be possible however if you were able to work at it full time, but most people only have an hour or two per day that they can put in. So in reality, it could take up to a year before you would be making enough money with GDI to quit your current job. But what's a year when your residual income could be far greater than the retirement you would get from a job you worked at for 30 years? Most people only have a two week vacation to look forward to at the end of each year, but with GDI you could have a lifetime vacation to look forward to after just one year because the money will keep coming in month after month for the rest of your life whether you work any more or not, and the money will continue to grow from the efforts of your downline.
